Industrial coil cradles support a variety of sizes of coiled stock (usually metal) for your manufacturing process. The coil cradle stabilizes the coil and allows the stock to rotate smoothly as it is fed through rollers into machinery to begin the manufacturing process.
The most basic coil cradles are easy to move around the workshop or factory, and take up minimal space. But an important feature of this relatively simple technology is providing a slack loop as material feeds into the rollers. Slack keeps the feed process smooth, avoiding jerkiness, pulling, and additional machine wear and tear.
General Features of Coil Cradles

- Available to accommodate loads from several hundred to several thousand pounds
- Hardened and/or covered/coated rollers to protect the surface of the coiled material
- Actual specifications vary by model
